Review:
This is a pretty badass Ep. I've heard their second demo "Cannibal Holocaust" and that was pretty good, but this here takes the cake as one of Gore Obsessed's finest released to date. The production is nice, the drum machine isn't a bother like with most bands and it's overall horror theme makes things really fun to listen to. The guitars are very well played with some really cool riffs throughout the songs. i wish i could here a solo or two though, that would just fucking make the music! That would be awesome, for what it is though i can settle with the cool riffs. Now, normally I really dislike drum machines, but here It really wasn't a problem at all. The drums are tastefully programmed and for the most part sound almost realistic! The faster parts are really well done and don't come off as shitty or cheesy as they do with most drum machine bands so thats another plus. The vocals are pretty well done, I think a little practice could help before releasing a full length album, but for the most part i really can't complain at all!
Overall this is a very nice Ep, just enough to whet our appetites and to keep us on the look out for more. I suggest your download this now! (It's a free download release, not illegal).
