Review:
This is badass! Jesus fucking Christ! This is some slow, old school horrifying death metal! Everything about this kicks ass! A few minor difficulties here and there but overall this is an amazing album. (I'm especially surprised because I normally don't like Razorback or Ex- Razorback bands at all). These guys play some really good old school death/doom and the horror movie influence on the music is great! It doesn't come off as cheesy and it really adds to the feel of the music.

The guitars are great! Really well pulled off, really atmospheric, the riffs are great! The slow riffs, the faster ones, the solos.... it's all greatly pulled off! the only thing a can complain about is how every now and then they will re-use a riff, but really compared to what they're doing they could get away with murder. The riff that comes in halfway through the song Night of The Deathcult is my favorite, goes from melodic and atmospheric to chuggy and doom filled in a blink of an eye.

The drums are really well done, not completely original and the beats are usually re-used throughout the album but they're really done. They sound great music, they're talented, the fills and rolls are great, and hell even some of the cymbal play is pretty out there. I have to say, good job!

The vocals are amazing! Just gut wrenching growls and a murderous sounding screams. This is death metal right here! They're consistently well done, they invoke an unusual style of the death metal vocals, but they're pulled off so skillfully that it's just mind-boggling.

The bass, while not outright noticeable, really helps the darker portions of the music and just makes it gloomy and terrifying. Really not much to say then that about the bass, it's well done, just not overtly noticeable.

All in all, a few small flaws keep this from being perfect, but i'm sensing a future metal cult classic on our hands right now!

Pick it up!
Final Rating: 4/5
